Flood response in Lower Silesia completed

Vela Poland has completed the "Support of the Flood-Affected Areas" project, with the final distribution on 23 February. Ten families and two collective sites with 180 and 25 residents received food packages and hygiene kits, along with shoes for children and school kits.

Since September our team made seven trips to the flood-affected regions of Lower Silesia, assisting 184 families and six shelters that together house approximately 400 people, with food packages, household items and electronic equipment. This project was made possible through the generous support of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, whose trust in Vela to aid the most vulnerable in times of crisis we gratefully acknowledge.
